A. The duties of the village attorney shall be:
1. To prepare such ordinances as the same may be requested by the village board or any of its members.
2. To confer with and advise the village board or any of its members on any legal matters.
3. To prosecute violations of its ordinances and in general to do everything in and about the premises as may be designated from time to time by the village board. (Ord. 1931-1, 5-8-1931)
B. The salary of the village attorney shall be established by the village board. (1977 Code; amd. 1997 Code)
