§ 73.09 JUNKED EQUIPMENT.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to store abandoned or junked equipment on street rights-of-way or on private property when the equipment is visible either from a street or from a neighbor’s property.
   (B)   In case of automobiles, they will be considered abandoned and junked if they do not bear a current valid state license tag and have been unmoved for 14 days. This shall also apply to any other equipment requiring a state license tag.
   (C)   Special written permission may be granted by the Town Manager for circumstances such as antique vehicles being restored or boats under construction on an individual basis.
   (D)   When a resident is ordered to remove an offending piece of equipment, the action must be taken within 72 hours. Failure to comply will result in the offending equipment being towed away at the owner’s expense. A storage fee will be charged the owner until the equipment is properly disposed.
