Where boundaries prove to be uncertain as to their location on the official zoning map, the following rules shall apply.
(A) Streets, rights-of-way and easements. Boundaries indicated as approximately following the centerlines of streets, highways or alleys shall be construed to follow the centerlines.
(B) Lot lines. Boundaries indicated as approximately following platted lot lines shall be construed as following the lot line.
(C) Corporate limits. Boundaries indicated as approximately following town limits shall be construed as following the town limits.
(D) Property division. If a district boundary divides a lot, the requirements for the district in which the greater portion of the lot lies shall be extended to the balance of the lot, provided that the extension shall not include any part of lot which lies more than 50 feet beyond the district boundary, and further provided that the remaining parcel shall not be less than the minimum required for the district in which it is located.
(E) Vacation and abandonment. Where any public street, alley or road is hereafter officially vacated or abandoned, the regulations applicable to parcels of abutting property shall apply to that portion of the street, alley or road added thereto by virtue of the vacation or abandonment.
(F) Shorelines. Boundaries indicated as following shorelines shall be construed to follow those shorelines, and in the event of change in the shoreline shall be construed as moving with the actual shoreline.
(G) Further interpretation. In instances where uncertainty exists, the Board of Adjustment shall interpret the intent of the map as to location of the boundaries.
