For the purpose of this ordinance, all other words used in this ordinance shall have their customary dictionary definitions. Except as defined herein, certain words shall be interpreted as follows.
(A) The word PERSON includes a firm, association, organization, partnership, trust, company or corporation, as well as an individual.
(B) The word MAY is permissive.
(C) The word SHALL is always mandatory.
(D) The words USED or OCCUPIED includes the words INTENDED, DESIGNED AND ARRANGED TO BE USED OR OCCUPIED.
(E) The word LOT includes the words PLOT, PARCEL, SITE and PREMISES.
(F) The word BUILDING includes the word STRUCTURE.
(G) The words MAP, ZONING MAP and MINNESOTT BEACH ZONING MAP shall mean the official zoning map for Minnesott Beach, North Carolina.
(H) The words TOWN or CITY shall mean the Town of Minnesott Beach, North Carolina.
(I) The words ORDINANCE and REGULATIONS shall mean the Unified Development Ordinance for the Town of Minnesott Beach, North Carolina.
(J) The words PLANNING BOARD shall mean the Town of Minnesott Beach Planning Board.
(K) The words BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS or TOWN COMMISSIONERS shall mean the Board of Commissioners of Minnesott Beach, North Carolina.
(L) The words BOARD OF APPEALS shall mean the Town of Minnesott Beach Board of Adjustment.
