2-2-12: REPORTS AVAILABLE TO LAW ENFORCEMENT:
   A.   Availability Of Records And Tickets: Every pawnbroker or pawnshop keeper in the county must, if requested, make available to law enforcement full, true and detailed copies of all pawn tickets and the current pages of the record book, computer printout or computer disk containing the current records. These records must set forth an exact description of each article or thing pawned or received by such pawnbroker or pawnshop keeper during the period since the last such report. Said tickets and records shall be full, detailed and correct copies of all entries in the book or computer required to be kept in section 2-2-11 of this chapter. If no article or thing has been pawned or received, a report must be made to that effect. Investigative reports from law enforcement agencies will be available upon request.
   B.   Filing Of Reports; Inspection: Law enforcement shall, upon receipt of such reports, file them securely in the law enforcement building. The reports shall be open to inspection only by law enforcement or any officer directed by law enforcement, or upon any order of the court. (Ord. 97-2, 12-8-1997)
