2-1-7: SALE OR POSSESSION AT FAIRGROUNDS:
   A.   Definitions: The following terms as used in this section are defined as follows:
   BEER: That beverage as defined by Idaho Code section 23-1001(a).
   BOARD: The Minidoka County fair board.
   FAIRGROUNDS: The real property owned by the county of Minidoka, state of Idaho, and encompasses the area used for horseracing, rodeos, stock shows, motorcycle and automobile races and carnivals or fairs.
   LIQUOR: All kinds of liquor sold by and in a state liquor store of Idaho or any other state.
   WINE: That beverage as defined by Idaho Code section 23-1303.
   B.   Fair Board Authority:
      1.   The Minidoka County fair board is hereby granted authority to establish designated areas for the sale, purchase, possession and/or consumption of beer, wine and/or liquor on the fairgrounds.
      2.   The fair board shall post signs at each entrance to the fairgrounds advising the public of this section.
      3.   The fair board shall clearly post all areas designated for the sale, purchase, possession and/or consumption of beer and/or wine.
   C.   Restrictions:
      1.   It shall be unlawful to sell, purchase, possess or consume beer and/or wine on the fairgrounds, except in areas authorized by the fair board.
      2.   It shall be unlawful to sell, purchase, possess or consume liquor on the fairgrounds, except in areas authorized by the fair board.
   D.   Violation A Misdemeanor: Any person who violates any of the provisions of this section or fails to comply with any of the terms of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. (Ord. 96-1, 6-14-1996)
