7-2-7: MEDIUM WIND TURBINE SYSTEM:

A. Permitted Zones: Medium private pole mounted WTS are not allowed in residential low zones. Medium private pole mounted WTS shall be allowed in all zones (except residential low) by special use permit.

B. Special Use Permits: All medium WTS shall require a special use permit, subject to public hearing by the county planning and zoning commission.

C. Minimum Site Area: Medium WTS shall be allowed only on lands with a minimum lot area of one acre. (Ord. 2016-09-13-F, 9-13-2016)
