A. Permitted Zones: Small private pole mounted WTS are allowed in all zones. Small private pole mounted WTS up to thirty five feet (35') do not require a special use permit. Those thirty five feet (35') to sixty feet (60') require a special use permit.
B. Minimum Site Area: Small WTS exceeding thirty five feet (35') in overall height shall be allowed only on lands with a minimum lot area of one acre.
C. Structure Mounted Turbines: Small WTS less than ten feet (10') in total height and intended for mounting upon structures such as houses, barns, sheds or other like buildings shall not require a special use permit or building permit. (Ord. 2016-09-13-F, 9-13-2016)
