351.16  WAIVER PROVISIONS.
   (a)   Whoever violates the provisions of Section 351.04(f) shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.  Any such person who has received notice to appear and to answer to such violation, upon filing a written plea of guilty, commonly known as a waiver, may for such offense pay a fine of fifty dollars ($50.00).  Whoever violates any other provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.  Any such person who has received notice to appear and to answer to such violation, upon filing a written plea of guilty, commonly known as a waiver, may for such offense pay a fine of ten dollars ($10.00).

   (b)   Upon failure to appear and make such plea within a seventy-two hour period, a warrant may be issued for the arrest of the violator and, upon conviction of the offense, such violator shall be subject to the penalty provided in Section 303.99 of this Traffic Code.
