(a) Any full-time employee serving on a jury for any court of Jefferson County, the State of Ohio or the Federal Government shall be paid for any time he is required to be absent from his job at a rate equal to his base rate of pay less any reimbursement for his jury service received from the court.
(b) All full-time employees shall be entitled to three days funeral leave at their base rate of pay for any death in their immediate family. Immediate family is defined as the spouse, parent, parent-in-law, step-parent, child, step-child, brother, sister, grandparent, grandparent-in-law, grandchild, half-brother, half-sister or any relative living in the employee's household.
(c) Full-time employees shall be entitled to claim up to two consecutive days sick leave without being required to present any certification of illness. This section shall not however, affect any of the rights of the Municipality and its various department heads with respect to habitual absenteeism.
