(a) The official holiday schedule of the Village of Mingo Junction is as follows:
New Year’s Day
Martin Luther King Day
Good Friday
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Veteran’s Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day.

(b) All hours worked by a regular employee on any of the holidays enumerated in subsection (a) shall be paid at two and one-half times the normal rate of pay for all hours worked on that day.
(c) A regular employee shall be eligible to receive payment for a holiday not worked provided:
(1) Such regular employee performs work, or is on vacation in the payroll period in which the holiday occurred;
(2) Such regular employee was not scheduled to work on that holiday;
(3) Such regular employee is not entitled to receive eight or more hours of holiday pay under subsection (b) hereof.
(d) For each holiday for which a regular employee is entitled to receive payment for a holiday not worked, he shall be entitled to be paid eight hours at his normal rate.
(e) "Regular employee" means any employee who normally works a forty hour week.
