731.10  DRIVER'S LICENSE SUSPENSION.
   Any taxicab driver who is convicted by a court of competent jurisdiction of violating any of the provisions of the ordinances of the City, or the laws of the State relating to motor vehicles, their operation or equipment or is convicted of a misdemeanor committed while he is in charge of a taxicab shall be subject, in addition to other penalties prescribed by law for such violation, to having his license suspended for a period of thirty days. At the end of thirty days such license shall be restored upon application of the licensee.  Upon a subsequent conviction of a misdemeanor, or in case of the commission of any felony by the taxicab driver in addition to other penalties prescribed for violation, the Mayor may permanently revoke such taxicab driver's license and no license shall again be issued to such taxicab driver.
