(a) "Taxicab" means any automotive vehicle offered for hire as a common carrier to the general public for the purpose of transporting passengers from place to place as they may direct.
(b) "Taxicab operator" means a person, co-partnership or corporation owning or operating, or engaged in the business of operating one or more taxicabs upon the streets of the City.
(c) "Taxicab driver" means any person driving a taxicab either as the owner thereof or as an employee of a taxicab operator. (Ord. 1202. Passed 3-19-47.)
