§ 248.04 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   (a)   “Controlled substance or drugs.” Amphetamines (speed, uppers) cocaine (including crack), marijuana, opiates (codeine, morphine), phencyclidine (PCP, “angel dust”). The village reserves the right to add or delete substances on the list above.
   (b)   “Conviction.” Any finding of guilt, including a plea of nolo contendere (no contest) or the imposition of a sentence, or both, by any judicial body charged with the responsibility to determine violations of the federal, state or local criminal drug statutes.
   (c)   “Criminal drug statute.” A criminal statute involving manufacture, distribution, dispensation, use or possession of any controlled substance. For purposes of this policy all definitions will be consistent with R.C. §§ 3719.01 et seq.
