§ 242.11 HEALTH-MEDICAL EVALUATION.
   (a)   A comprehensive health-medical check-up and evaluation shall be conducted before any police officer is accepted for police duties and again every two years for all police officers. The evaluation shall be conducted at the designated testing facility determined by the Mayor and shall consist of a complete medical examination for fitness for police duty assignment to be conducted by the designated physician.
   (b)   Examination shall consist of criteria which are set forth in Exhibit A attached to original Ordinance 13-92, passed February 8, 1993, and made a part of this section by reference as if codified in full herein. Said criteria shall be the minimum standards to be applied by the designated physician.
   (c)   The designated physician shall provide the Chief of Police with a copy of the evaluation of the applicant/police officer involved.
   (d)   The applicant/police officer shall be provided with a copy of the results of said examination. It will be the applicant’s/police officer’s responsibility for any further evaluation and treatment through his or her own personal physician and to bring himself or herself up to minimum standards wherever any substandard condition exists that can be remedied and/or corrected.
