§ 242.02 APPOINTMENT, TERM AND REMOVAL OF CHIEF.

   (a)   The Chief of Police shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of Council in accordance with R.C. §§ 737.15 and 737.17.

   (b)   The Chief of Police shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and may be removed by the Mayor at any time thereafter with the consent of Council in accordance with R.C. §§ 737.17 and 737.171.
