§ 1066.03 EQUIPMENT STANDARDS; SECONDARY POWER SOURCE; AUTOMATIC CUTOFFS.
   (a)   All equipment used in the installation of alarm systems shall meet the applicable standards of Underwriters’ Laboratories of the United States, Factory Mutual, the National Fire Protection Association or any other recognized industry standard.
   (b)   The owner or installer may be required to submit a letter or certificate providing evidence of the reliability and suitability of the equipment to be installed.
   (c)   All alarm systems shall be equipped with a secondary power source which shall hold the alarm in readiness for a minimum of 120 minutes during a power interruption.
   (d)   An audible alarm or automatic dialer alarm system designed to detect an intrusion shall have an automatic cutoff which discontinues the alarm signal within 15 minutes after activation.
