1. The Borough of Minersville and the Borough collection service has established a residential garbage collection weekly limit of five - 30 gallon size garbage bags per residential consumer. Each 30 gallon bag is not to exceed 40 pounds in weight. Each residential consumer may place for weekly garbage collection one large item, which includes, but is not limited to, couches, chairs, table, wooden cabinets and the like.
2. The Borough of Minersville and the Borough collection service will not collect any items that contain hazardous waste, compost, rubbish, tires, batteries, items made of metal, Freon-bearing appliances, large household appliances, electronics (TVs, computers, DVD players and the like) and any gas tanks.
3. Any compost items shall be taken by the residential or commercial consumers to the Borough of Minersville compost site at the end of North Delaware Avenue.
