1. The Minersville Borough Recreation Board is hereby created, to consist of five members, all of whom shall be appointed by the Council of the Borough of Minersville. The members shall serve for terms of five years or until their successors are appointed. The members first appointed to said Board shall be appointed for such terms and the term of one member shall expire annually thereafter. [Ord. 1952-41C]
2. Members of the Board shall serve without pay.
3. Vacancies in said Board, occurring otherwise than by expiration of term, shall be filled for the unexpired term, and shall be filled in the same manner as original appointments.
4. Each member of the Board shall take an oath of office that he or she will diligently and honestly administer the affairs of the Board, and that he or she will not knowingly violate or wilfully permit to be violated any of the provisions of this Part.
