§ 1705.01 INTENT.

   The intent of this article is to:

   (A)   Promote the general health, welfare, and safety of the community;

   (B)   Provide building construction guidelines to comply with the State Fire Commission;

   (C)   Encourage the utilization of appropriate construction practices to minimize flood damage in the future; and

   (D)   Minimize danger to public health by protecting water supply and natural drainage.
