A. The 1997 edition of the uniform housing code published by the International Conference of Building Officials is hereby adopted with the following amendments:
1. All references to the "building official" shall mean the city manager or his designee. (Ord. 892)
2. All references to the "housing advisory and appeals board" shall mean the city of Milton-Freewater planning commission. (Ord. 813, 2-13-1995)
3. All references to the "health officer" shall mean any employee of the city of Milton-Freewater designated administratively by the city manager, or the city manager's designee, to perform the duties of health officer as provided for in this code. (Ord. 892)
