§ 50.15 COLLECTION STANDARDS.
   (A)   Residential refuse and garbage shall be collected and disposed of by a company selected by the village. The village shall enter into an exclusive contract for the collection of residential refuse and garbage with the company selected by the village. All residents shall be required to have their residential refuse and garbage collected and disposed of by the company selected by the village.
   (B)   The company selected by the village shall not be required to collect and dispose of any commercial refuse or garbage. Commercial refuse, garbage and highly combustible rubbish shall be collected and disposed of by the owners of the items who may contract with a company of their choice.
   (C)   Residential refuse and garbage shall be collected at regular intervals on collection days to be determined by the village and the company selected by it. The village and the company selected by it shall determine the point of collection when not otherwise designated in this chapter, shall determine the hours of collection and shall distribute to all households notices or memoranda outlining the provisions of this chapter and stating the collection days, hours and points of collection.
   (D)   Only one large item of bulky waste, such as furniture or appliances, shall be picked up per collection day. All bulky waste consisting of leaves, grass clippings and/or tree trimmings shall be bagged or bundled. Bundles shall be limited to four feet in length.
