In addition to the rules and regulations set forth in this chapter, the laws of the state, this code and any other ordinance of the village, and federal laws pertaining to an affecting police officers shall be the governing factors in the conduct of all members of the Police Department, who shall at all times be subject to the same. It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police and the Board of Trustees to enforce the foregoing rules and regulations.
