All regular members of the Police Department shall devote their entire and exclusive time to the business of the Police Department. Any outside employment or business interest that does not interfere with the efficiency of the Police Department may be submitted in writing to the Board of Trustees for its approval and in any case the police officer should be available for emergency duty.
