§ 115.02 RECORDS.
   Every pawnbroker doing business in the village shall keep a record, including a photograph, of every article pledged with him or sold to him and this record shall be open to the inspection of any police officer at any time during the hours of business. In addition, every pawnbroker doing business in the village shall obtain and keep on file a copy of a valid identification properly identifying every person pledging or selling an article to him, and these copies of valid identifications shall also be open to the inspection of any police officer at any time during the hours of business. It shall be the duty of every pawnbroker to report to the police any article pledged with him or which is sought to be pledged with him if he shall have the reason to believe that the article was stolen or lost and found by the person attempting to pledge it in the case of a lost article.
