Every act or omission constituting a violation of any provision of this chapter or of the Liquor Control Act [i.e., ILCS Ch. 235, Act 5, §§ 1-1 et seq.] by any officer, director, manager, agent or employee of any licensee shall be deemed and held to be the act of such employer or licensee and the employer or licensee shall be punishable in the same manner as if such act or omission had been done or omitted by him personally.
