§ 91.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   DOG. Any animal, male or female, of any kind, age and description of the canine species which is more than two months old.
   CAT. Any animal, male or female, of any kind, age and description of the feline species which is more than two months old.
   DOMESTIC ANIMAL. Any animal, male or female, of any kind, and description which is normally kept or referred to as a household pet.
   ANIMAL. The reference to animal shall include dog, cat and domestic animal as defined in this section.
   OWNER/KEEPER. Any person who shall harbor or suffer or permit any dog, cat or domestic animal to remain on any premises within this village under his charge or control.
   AT LARGE.    Any dog, cat or other domestic animal off the premises of the owner and not under the control by a leash or other means of the owner or his authorized agent.
   WILD ANIMAL. Any member of a species not customarily used as an ordinary household pet, but which would ordinarily be confined to a zoo or one which could ordinarily be found in the wilderness of this or any other country, or one which otherwise causes a reasonable person to be fearful of bodily harm or property damages. A WILD ANIMAL shall include, but not be limited to, any poisonous reptile or any other dangerous or carnivorous wild animal or reptile, except fish in an aquarium or captive-bred species of common cage birds.
