§ 30.01 GOVERNING BODY.
   (A)   The governing body of the village shall be the Board of Trustees, which shall consist of the President of the village, and the Trustees, as the same may be elected and qualified.
   (B)   The Board of Trustees shall be the sole judge of the election to office of any of its members, and of their eligibility to hold office. In the event of a contested election or any issue brought before it as to whether or not any of its members are eligible to hold their respective offices, such member as may be directly interested in the contest or the issue pending shall be incompetent to deliberate thereon.
   (C)   Nothing herein contained shall prohibit the institution of a suit in quo warranto.
