Neither the owner, lessee, or occupant of the property from which an abandoned vehicle or parts are removed, nor the town, its officers, agents, employees, duly-contracted towing service, or automobile scrapyard is liable for loss or damage to any vehicle or parts occurring during its removal, storage, and disposition pursuant to this subchapter.
