A person may request a hearing and may be represented by counsel if desired. A person requesting the hearing shall have the right to cross-examine the person alleging the violation, and to testify in their own behalf. He or she will also have the right to bring in witnesses to testify for him or her and to obtain information, prior to the hearing, concerning the evidence that the town will present to establish the violation. The Town Council will then determine if the violation stands or is dismissed. The Town Council will also have the right to give extensions if needed to fix the problem as determined in the hearing if not dismissed.
