(A) (1) Drivers are prohibited from driving trucks or freight carrying vehicles exceeding one ton payload capacity on Larimer Street and Maple Street (from Larimer to Cripe Street) in the town.
(2) Ordinance violations shall be enforced under proceedings brought pursuant to I.C. 34-4-32-1 et seq. in a manner similar to that of infractions with complaint and summons described in I.C. 9-30-3-6 issued by the town’s Police Department or any other police agency.
(3) Revenues generated from such fines for violation of this division (A) shall be deposited in the Law Enforcement Continuing Education Fund of the town.
(4) The town’s Street Department is hereby authorized and directed to post “No Through Trucks” signs in accordance with I.C. 9-21.
(B) (1) Drivers are prohibited from driving trucks with payload capacity of one ton, or pickup trucks being used for commercial transportation or the pulling of trailers, campers, or other items for commercial use, to or from a business, on Cook Street, Depot Street, Clinton Street, the 300 block of West Elm Street, and Washington Street East of S.R. 13 in the town.
(2) Ordinance violations shall be enforced under proceedings brought pursuant to I.C. 34-4-32-1 et seq. in a manner similar to that of infractions with complaint and summons described in I.C. 9-30-3-6 issued by the town’s Police Department or other police agency.
(3) Revenues generated from fines for violations of this division (B) shall be deposited in the General Fund LECE line item of the town.
(C) (1) Any person who is found to have violated any provision of division (A) above shall be punished by a $50 fine for each separate offense.
(2) Any person who is found to have violated any provision of division (B) above shall be punished by a $100 fine for each separate offense.
