SCHEDULE III. STOP INTERSECTIONS.
   (A)   (1)   The intersection of the north-south one-way alley running from Main Street to Washington Street between Jefferson and Clinton Streets and the east-west alley running from Jefferson Street to Clinton Street between Main and Washington Streets is designated a three-way stop and that south bound traffic on the north-south alley stop before entering the intersection and that east-west bound traffic on the east-west alley stop before entering the intersection.
      (2)   Stop signs conforming to state traffic regulations as to size and shape be erected at said intersection to regulate traffic in accordance with division (A)(1) above.
   (B)   (1)   All traffic on Timber Valley Boulevard shall stop before entering West Lincoln Street (also known as County Road 42), and West Lincoln Street is declared to be a through street.
      (2)   All traffic on Bryan Court shall yield the right-of-way to all traffic on Timber Valley Boulevard, and Timber Valley Boulevard is declared to be a preferential street.
      (3)   All traffic on Travis Court shall yield the right-of-way to all traffic on Timber Valley Boulevard or Cindy Court, and with respect to Travis Court, Timber Valley Boulevard, and Cindy Court are declared to be preferential streets.
      (4)   The Town Marshal is directed to procure the necessary signs, such signs to be in conformity with state highway standards and to post them according to the same rules as state highway signs are posted.
   (C)   (1)   The intersection of Jefferson Street and Main Street in the town is hereby designated as a four-way stop intersection so that all vehicles crossing or turning at this intersection shall be required to stop and yield the right-of-way in compliance with state law before entering the intersection of the two roads.
      (2)   The town’s Street and Utilities Department is hereby authorized and directed to post stop signs in accordance with I.C. 9-21 at the intersection of Jefferson Street and Main Street.
      (3)   Violations shall be enforced under proceedings brought pursuant to I.C. 34-28-5 et seq. in a manner similar to that of infractions with complaint and summons described in I.C. 9-30-3-6 issued by the town’s Police Department or other police agency. Any person who is found to have violated any provision of this division shall be punished by a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $500 for each separate offense.
      (4)   Revenues generated from fines for violations of this division (C) shall be deposited in the General Fund of the town.
   (D)   (1)   Placing traffic-control devices. Pursuit to recommendations of the Town Marshal and the Police Department thereof, the town’s Police Department and town’s Street Department are hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to place the respective traffic-control devices listed in division (D)(2) below to regulate and control local traffic, within the jurisdiction of the town, as set forth in division (D)(2) below that said traffic-control devices shall be placed in accordance with I.C. 9-21-4-1 et seq., and the state manual and specifications for traffic-control devices used in the state.    (E)   (1)   The intersection of East Lincoln Street and South Jefferson Street in the town is hereby designated as a stop intersection for westbound traffic on East Lincoln Street so that all westbound vehicles on Lincoln Street are required to stop and yield the right-of-way in compliance with state law before entering this intersection.
      (2)   The intersection of South Jefferson Street and Lincoln Street in the town is hereby designated as a yield intersection for southbound traffic on South Jefferson Street so that all southbound vehicles on Jefferson Street are required to yield the right-of-way in compliance with state law before entering this intersection.
      (3)   The town’s Street Department is hereby authorized, in accordance with I.C. 9-21, to post a stop sign for westbound traffic on Lincoln Street at the intersection with Jefferson Street, and a yield sign for southbound traffic on Jefferson Street at the intersection with Lincoln Street.
      (4)   All vehicles approaching any stop or yield intersection in the town, as its boundaries may change from time to time, in a direction for which the vehicle is designated to stop at the intersection by traffic signs posted in accordance with I.C. 9-21 are required to stop and yield the right-of-way in compliance with state law before entering any designated stop or yield intersection.
      (5)   Ordinance violations shall be enforced under proceedings brought pursuant to I.C. 34-4-32-1 et seq. in a manner similar to that of infractions with complaint and summons described in I.C. 9-30-3-6 issued by the town’s Police Department or other police agencies.
      (6)   Revenues generated from fines for violations of this division (E) shall be deposited in the Law Enforcement Continuing Education Fund of the town’s Police Department.
   (F)   Any person who is found to have violated any provision of division (E) above, or who violates any future ordinance designating a stop or yield intersection, shall be punished by a fine of not less than $25 nor more than $500 for each separate offense.
