(a) Pursuant to Ohio R.C. 737.16, all current Village Police Officers shall undergo a physical examination, with the costs for said examination paid by the Village.
(b) All Police Officers shall receive a periodic physical examination to occur every three years, with the cost of said periodic examinations to be paid by the Village.
(c) The Chief of Police is charged with reviewing the results of said examinations, and determining whether the results of said examinations show that each officer meets the physical requirements necessary to perform the duties of the position to which he is appointed.
(d) The Chief of Police shall take appropriate steps to insure that all potential police officer appointees in the future shall be informed of the requirement of taking and passing a physical examination, and that such procedure is followed.
