In the event the Administrator or his/her designee, after issuance of the notice described in the preceding section, is compelled to take corrective action to enforce the provisions therein, then, after the work is completed the Municipality shall give notice, by regular mail, to the owner of such lot or parcel of land, at his last known address, to pay the cost of such corrective action, which notice shall be accompanied by a statement of the amount of cost incurred by the Village plus a service charge. The amount of service charge shall be as follows:
(1) $25.00 for a first offense
(2) $100.00 for a second offense
(3) $200.00 for a third offense for any offense thereafter
In the event the same is not paid within thirty days after the mailing of such notice, then such amount shall be certified to the County Auditor and shall be entered upon the tax duplicate and be a lien upon such property from and after the date of the entry and be collected as other taxes and returned to the Municipality for the general fund.
