(a) Unless stated otherwise, whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be subject to a civil penalty of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000). Each day a violation continues or occurs shall be a separate offense.
(b) In addition to any possible penalty provided for in this Chapter, the offender may be subject to criminal charges under the Ohio Revised Code and/or Village Ordinances and/or shall be responsible for damages including but not limited to any clean up charges, increased costs for treatment of the substance discharged into the sewage system and damages to the wastewater treatment.
(c) In addition to the monetary penalties stated above, the Village reserves the right to shut off all water to the building until such time that the violator complies with this chapter.
