(a) No vehicle shall be permitted to remain parked on any street or alley in the municipality at any time for more than forty-eight hours. This section shall apply to those streets and alleys upon which parking is legally permitted.
(b) Any vehicle found in violation of this section shall be subject to tow and impoundment as provided for in Section 303.08(a)(10). (Ord. 98-103. Passed 4-13-98.)
(c) Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. If, within one year of the offense, the offender previously has been convicted of or pleaded guilty to one predicate motor vehicle or traffic offense, whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. If, within one year of the offense, the offender previously has been convicted of two or more predicate motor vehicle or traffic offenses, whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
