It is the Village’s policy to monitor through this Chapter 957 the customer service practices that Cable Operators provide to the citizens of Millersburg. The provisions of this Chapter shall supersede any inconsistent provisions in any franchise agreements regarding customer service requirements for cable services. Specifically, the regulations governing customer service standards for cable services are adopted pursuant to Ohio law and Section 632 [47 U.S.C. § 552] of the 1992 Cable Act, as amended by the Telecommunications Act of 1996, and FCC regulations adopted pursuant to Section 632 of the Cable Act.
