The purpose of the income tax shall be to provide funds for the purpose of general municipal operations, parks and recreation and capital improvements. The income tax is hereby levied on income, salaries, wages, commissions and other compensation, and on net profits as provided in Ordinance 89-1277, passed 11-21-89, and including subsequent amendments and replacements thereto.
