The Records Commission shall perform the duties as set forth in Ohio R.C. 149.39. In addition thereto, when it is deemed advisable by the membership, the Commission shall initiate and promulgate plans for the reproduction of City records, by lawful means, for the purpose of more economical storage and improved safety thereof, and may conduct investigations of the necessity for and the practicability of such plans.
