157.50 FALSE STATEMENTS OR FRAUDULENT CONDUCT.
   False statements or fraudulent conduct by the applicant, or by others with the knowledge and consent of the applicant, in any application or examination, shall be deemed cause for exclusion of that applicant from any examination, or for removal of his name from the eligible list, or for discharge from the service after appointment, provided that such person shall have an opportunity to be heard in his own behalf prior to the Civil Service Commission deciding in this regard. If discharge from the municipal service following appointment is pursued, the applicable provisions of this chapter and Ohio R.C. 124.34 shall be followed.
