1505.04 VEHICLES TRANSPORTING HAZARDOUS MATERIALS.
   (a)   Applicability. The provisions of this section apply to vehicles transporting hazardous materials or having residue of hazardous materials as defined in Unified Fire Code Sections F-3000.1 and F-3000.3.
   (b)   Parking. No person shall park or leave unattended any vehicle transporting hazardous materials on any street or alley in the City; provided, however, that this shall not prevent a driver from the necessary absence from the vehicle in connection with the delivery of the load, except that during actual discharge of load some responsible person shall be present at the vehicle; nor shall it prevent stops for meals during the day or night if the street is well lighted at the point of parking. Such vehicles shall not be parked outdoors at any one point for longer than one hour.
   (c)   Garages. No person shall park or garage any vehicle in any building or structure other than those specifically approved for such use by the Fire Official.
   (d)   Filling and Discharging. The driver, operator or attendant of any vehicle transporting hazardous materials shall not leave the vehicle while it is being filled or discharged. Delivery hoses, when attached to a tank vehicle, shall be considered to be a part of the tank vehicle. When making or breaking hose connections, the motor of tank trucks or tractors shall be shut down. If loading or unloading is done without the use of power pump, the tank truck or tractor motor shall be shut down throughout such operations.
