(a) The Fire Chief or any of his duly authorized agents are hereby empowered to issue red tags to any owner of any premises found in violation of the Unified Fire Code of Hamilton County, the National Electrical Code or the Hamilton County Building Code.
(b) Such red tag shall advise the owner of the violation, of the date by which such violation shall be repaired or corrected, and that he shall notify the Fire Department when such corrections or repairs have been made.
(c) No owner who is issued a red tag under this section shall utilize any gas or electrical device which is in violation of the Unified Fire Code, the National Electrical Code or the Hamilton County Building Code, until such time as the device has been inspected and serviced by a qualified technician to the satisfaction of the issuing agent.
