921.03 SYSTEM COMPOSITION AND PURPOSE.
   (a)   System Composition. The waterworks system of the City consists of: water supply wells, booster pump stations, water storage tanks, City supplied pressure reducing valves, block valves, fire hydrants and all transmission mains laid in streets, alleys, rights of way and easements with the water treatment plant. The location of same, including all appurtenances thereof, is shown on maps, plans and drawings on file in the offices of the Director of the Water Department and the City Engineer.
   (b)   Purpose. The purpose of this system is to provide for the safe, reliable supply of potable water and fire protection to the citizens of the City.
      (1)   System users shall comply with Rules and Regulations as well as all applicable City ordinances, State and Federal laws.
      (2)   The Director shall be responsible for the collection of pertinent information on those appurtenances which connect to this system and those acts which could cause abuse or damage for the purpose of protecting the system from such occurrences and to ensure proper protection of operating personnel.
      (3)   System users shall cooperate with the operation of the department by providing information when requested by the Director, on their water usage. Failure to provide requested information to the Director in a timely manner or refusal to provide information shall be deemed as a violation of these Rules and Regulations and may result in the termination of water service until the requested information is provided to the Director.
