(a) No person in any manner shall erect, place, hang, tack or post any sign, bill, poster or advertisement of any nature on any pole, tree or other plant or building or other structure of any publicly owned or controlled land, premises, street or alley.
(b) The provisions of this section shall not apply to notices posted by court order or notices to the public required by law or notices to the public required by Council.

(c) Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. Each day of a continuing violation shall constitute a separate offense.
