§ 51.161 CITY NOT LIABLE.
   It is expressly stipulated by the city that no claims shall be made against it for reason of breaking or freezing of any service pipe or service cock, or if from any cause the supply of water should fail, or from damage arising from shutting off water to repair the mains, making the connections or extensions, or from any other purposes that may be deemed necessary. The right is reserved to cut off the supply of water at any time for the purpose of repairs or any other purpose necessary, and permit granted or regulation to the contrary notwithstanding. Whenever it becomes necessary to shut off the water supply within any district of the city, the City Administrator shall, if practicable, give public notice of the time when such supply shall be shut off.
