In their interpretation and application, the provisions of this chapter, as amended, shall be held to be minimum requirements. In the case of any use or structure where one requirement of this chapter is at variance with another requirement of this chapter, the requirement most specifically relating to the use or structure shall apply. Wherever the requirements of this chapter, as amended, are at variance with the requirements of any other lawfully adopted rules, regulations, ordinances, deed restrictions, or covenants, the most restrictive or that imposing the higher standards shall govern.
