This code was prepared to provide a just, equitable, and practicable method, to be cumulative with and in addition to any other remedy provided by city ordinances or otherwise available at law, whereby a public nuisance located on any premises or public property which from any cause endangers the life, limb, morals, public health, safety, property, and welfare or which tends to lower the value of adjacent real property because of unsightliness may be required to be repaired, removed, or abated.
