§ 110.06 EXEMPTIONS FROM PERMITTING FEE.
   The following persons, firms, or corporations shall be exempt from the payment of the permitting fee under § 110.05:
   (A)   Any person, firm, or corporation retailing any produce, goods, wares, or merchandise which are raised, produced, or manufactured by him or her in the state, if such person, firm, or corporation, prior to the commencement of any such retailing, shall file with the City Finance Officer his or her statement, under oath, showing that he or she is the owner of such produce, goods, wares, or merchandise, that the same were raised or manufactured by him or her in the state, including a statement of the particular place of raising or manufacturing;
   (B)   Any person, firm, or corporation having a valid state sales tax or excise tax permit and who actually collects sales tax or excise tax for the sale of the intended goods, wares, and merchandise or service;
   (C)   Any charitable, fraternal, non-profit, or veteran’s organization, or a representative member working on the organization’s behalf, for the sale of the intended goods, wares, and merchandise or services; or
   (D)   Any person, firm, or corporation participating in a city approved event where vendors, merchants, and service providers are invited to participate in a gathering of venders, merchants, or service providers for the purposes of the approved event.
