(A) All traffic-control signs, signals, markings, and other devices shall conform to the current edition of the Manual of Uniform Traffic-Control Devices, approved by the Federal Highway Administrator as the national standard for all highways open to public travel, in accordance with 23 U.S.C. §§ 109(b), 109(d), and 405(a) and 23 C.F.R. § 630.1106, which is hereby incorporated and adopted in this section by the city.
(B) All signs, signals, markings, and other devices required under this section for a particular purpose shall, so far as is practicable, be uniform as to type and location throughout the city. All traffic- control devices so erected and not inconsistent with the provisions of state law or this chapter shall be official traffic-control devices.
