§ 72.01 AUTHORITY TO INSTALL.
   The City Council may, by resolution, order the Chief of Police to place and maintain traffic-control signs, signals, and devices when and as required under the traffic ordinances and resolutions of this city to make effective the provisions of such ordinances and resolutions, and the City Administrator may place and maintain such additional traffic-control devices as is necessary to regulate traffic under the traffic ordinances and resolutions of this city or under state law or to guide or warn traffic. Such traffic- control signs, signals, and devices include, but are not limited to, parking, speed, stop and yield signs, and devices. A full and complete list of all parking restrictions, and stop and yield sign placements shall be on file and available for inspection in the City Finance Office.
